# How much energy does my address need?

Paste a TRON address. We read its USDT transfers for the last 7 days, count how many went to new holders (131,000 energy each) and to existing holders (65,000 each), and show how much energy a typical day takes.

Use the address that sends the transfers. Nothing is signed or sent: the check reads public data from the TRON blockchain.

1. **Last 7 days of USDT transfers**Every transfer this address sent, grouped by day.

2. **New holder or existing holder**A transfer to an address with no USDT takes about 131,000 energy; to an address that already holds USDT, about 65,000.

3. **Energy per day and a way to buy it**How much energy a typical and a busy day take, and the order size that covers each transfer.

## Energy per USDT transfer

| Receiver | Energy | Order for 1 hour |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Already holds USDT | about 65,000 | 65,000 |
| Holds no USDT yet | about 131,000 | 131,000 |

Measured on mainnet: 64,285 and 130,285 energy, sold as 65,000 and 131,000. Chain parameters as of 2026-10-01.

## How a transfer is counted

Each transfer is counted by the energy the network actually charged for it: a transfer that took about 131,000 energy went to an address with no USDT, one that took about 65,000 went to an address that already held USDT. Approvals and failed transfers are left out.

## Planning for the busy day

Size orders for the busiest day, not only the average: an order that falls short leaves the rest of the transfer to burn TRX. Today is shown but left out of the average until the day ends.

## FAQ

01

### Why do some transfers need twice the energy?

Sending USDT to an address that holds none writes a new balance on the token contract, which costs about 131,000 energy. To an address that already holds USDT it is about 65,000.

02

### Does the address need energy of its own?

No. Energy you buy is delegated to the sending address for the rental term; each USDT transfer uses it instead of burning TRX.

03

### Why 7 days?

A week covers weekday and weekend patterns. The busiest day is shown so you can size orders for the peak, not just the average.
